President of Kazakhstan to hold a meeting of Foreign Investors

ASTANA. May 20. KAZINFORM - President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana on May 22 will hold 26th plenary session of Foreign Investors Council (FIC) under the President of Kazakhstan. This has been announced today at a press briefing by the spokesman for the central communications service Altai Abibullayev.

"The focus of the meeting will be issues of innovation and technological development in Kazakhstan. Members of the Foreign Investors' Council will also discuss the investment climate in our country, as well as the contribution of foreign investors in the process of expanding local content and industrially-innovative development in our country, " he said.

The Kazakh Government is expected to participate n the meeting of the Board members. It is expected that within its framework the President will receive some of the board members.

FIC was established by the Decree of the Head of State in 1998 with the aim to improve the investment climate in our country, as well as cooperation in investment between the Government and the leading foreign investors.
