President of Italy arrives in Astana

The aircraft of the President of Italy has landed at the Astana airport, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev greeted Sergio Mattarella at the airport, after which the heads of state proceeded to the negotiations hall.
The last time the presidents met in Rome in January 2024.
Earlier, it was reported that President Tokayev invited Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for official visit to Kazakhstan.
