President of German-Asian Business Circle congratulated Kazakhstan on accession to OSCE chairman post

FRANKFURT AM MAIN-BRUSSELS. February 24. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ President of the German-Asian Business Circle Bodo Kruger congratulated Kazakhstan on accession to the post of the OSCE chairman at the reception held in Wiesbaden (Germany) on Monday. Bodo Kuger wished successful work in this international organization.

The participants of the event paid special attention to "Kazakhstan" showcase organized by the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Frankfurt. The showcase with the logo of the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship represents a map of Kazakhstan with panoramic photographs demonstrating the main touristic sights, economic centers and Astana and Almaty cities.

Kazakh Consul General Beibut Atamkulov gave an interview to "RhainMain TV" and "Earth - TV" TV channels. He told journalists about the main provisions of the President's Address to the nation, current economic situation in the country, priorities of Kazakhstan at the post of the OSCE chairman and state and prospects of the Kazakh-German relations.

Audi, Fraport, Lufthansa, Thai Airways International, KIA Motors, Fukuoka/Japan, Thailand Board of Investment companies placed their showcases at the reception as well.

ASEAN Secretary General Surin Pitsuwan took part in the reception as a special guest. Over 1000 people representing NGOs, business communities, mass media of Germany and diplomatic missions took part in the event.
