President of China invites Tokayev to visit China

During the meeting K. Tokayev emphasized the importance of the current visit for further strengthening of strategic cooperation. He pointed out the significance of the interparliamentary dialogue for implementation of the priorities of Kazakh-Chinese partnership both in bilateral and multilateral formats.

"The Senate of the Kazakh Parliament is ready to promote development of cooperation between our countries", K. Tokayev said.

The Senate Chairman stressed that the dynamic development of bilateral relations was reached due to the efforts of presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Hu Jintao.

K. Tokayev extended an invitation to his Chinese counterpart - Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress to visit Kazakhstan at his convenience.

Hu Jintao invited the speakers of the Senate and Majilis to visit China as well.
