President Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulates Kazakhstanis on Easter

Dear compatriots!

I cordially congratulate you on Easter!

This bright holiday symbolizes the most important human values as love, good, mutual understanding and forgiveness.

The multinational and multi-confessional Kazakhstan is proud of good traditions of mutual respect among the representatives of various religions living on its territory. This became possible due to tolerance and wisdom of our nation as well as consistent state policy directed on strengthening peace and harmony in our society, maintaining fruitful dialogue between the confessions and the state.

Today our country lives in peace and calm. We are confident in our future; we are building prospering Kazakhstan together. We build mosques and temples, churches and synagogues. Our capital city Astana has become an acknowledged center of dialogue of global religions. Recently we have inaugurated the largest in Central Asia Cathedral in Astana which was consecrated by Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill during his visit to our country.

Dear Kazakhstanis!

This day brings good hopes and joy in our houses. This is the time of care and attention not only towards our relatives and friends but also towards those who need help and mercy. Let us be kind and merciful to each other! Let us strengthen peace and harmony in our hearts, families and in our common house Kazakhstan!
