President Nazarbayev wishes Golovkin victory

NEW YORK - ASTANA. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev sent a letter to Gennady Golovkin wishing him victory in a bout to defend his WBA middleweight title against former IBF/WBA beltholder Daniel Geale set on July 26, the Kazakh Consulate in New York told Kazinform.
"Thank you for the invitation. I wish you victory. All Kazakhstan people are with you," the telegram reads.
"I express my sincere gratitude to President Nursultan Nazarbayev for his support and wishes," Golovkin said. "I will try to justify the confidence reposed."
