President Nazarbayev surveys new hospital in Almaty

The new facility is a highly specialized multidisciplinary medical treatment institution, which will provide residents of the city and the country with qualified medical care within the Unified National Healthcare System.

N.Nazarbayev got acquainted with a building of the medical institution and met with the staff. "The state does the best to equip medical establishments with modern equipment. And you should provide good medical care, and medical universities should train highly skilled specialists", the President said.

It was noted that the state pays great attention to this sphere - the Unified National Healthcare System is being implemented. "Nowadays about 80 percent of pharmaceutical products are imported. But we do our best for launching new pharmaceuticals production units in Kazakhstan", N.Nazarbayev noted.
