President Nazarbayev steers a steady course of interfaith dialogue, view

"Religious leaders indeed make unique contribution to the development of the entire world. But, at the same time, we see that political leaders say one thing and do the opposite. And in this connection I would like to thank the President, Head and Founder of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev for steering a steady course of joint dialogue throughout all these years," R. Bogdassarov voiced his opinion at the 13th session of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana. Representative of the Russian Orthodox Church noted that President Nazarbayev always congratulates all people of Kazakhstan, including the Christians, on religious holidays. According to Bogdassarov, dialogue between religious and political leaders can solve all problems in the society. As reported earlier, the 13th session of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions is underway in Astana.
