President Nazarbayev receives 1st Deputy Chairman of Nur Otan Party

ASTANA. August 12. KAZINFORM Today, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Head of State and the Chairman of the National Democratic Party "Nur Otan", has received the first Deputy Chairman of the party Bauyrzhan Baibek, Kazinform was told by Akorda's press service.

In the course of the meeting in the presidential residence, Mr. Baibek reported on the work done by the party in terms of implementation of the "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy, preparations for the XV Congress of "Nur Otan" Party and the draft political doctrine being drawn up by the party.

The politician noted that the latest session of the Nationwide coalition of democratic forces convened on the initiative of NDP "Nur Otan". In his words, the top-ranking political parties and public associations voiced support to recent reforms which are underway in local self-government and administrative system of the country.

The first Deputy Chairman Baibek also briefed President Nazarbayev on the changes to the work of the party and updates to the party's structure aimed at improving its efficiency, transparency and liability towards the population. For instance, the Supreme Party School of NDP "Nur Otan" has been transformed into the School of Political Management.

Following results of the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions on further implementation of tasks to Mr. Baibek.
