TANA. October 28. KAZINFORM Today President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan Grigory Marchenko.
G.Marchenko informed the President of the current situation in the financial sphere of the country, in particular, in the foreign exchange market.
"Tenge has strengthened over the last few days. External environment remains favorable for Kazakhstan. Prices for oil, grain, metals are high enough. We expect if this situation continues further, in general, this positive tendency will maintain. I reported to the President on the situation in the banking market. There is a positive tendency from May, 2011. In general, the macro-economic situation and the situation in the banking sector and the foreign exchange market remain positive," G.Marchenko told a briefing for journalists.
