President Nazarbayev invites Iran to take part in EXPO-2017 event in Astana

"It is crucial that Iran supports our international initiatives. Kazakhstan wants to take temporary seat on the UN Security Council in 2017-2018 and we really appreciate Iran's support in this respect. I have invited Iranian companies to participate in the upcoming EXPO-2017 event in Astana," President Nazarbayev said Tuesday at a press conference following his meeting with Iranian leader Hassan Rouhani in Astana. The President also noted that Kazakhstan and Iran plan to take part in a number of high level events. The Head of State expressed confidence that Rouhani's visit and bilateral agreements signed in Astana will allow to bring the Kazakhstani-Iranian partnership to a brand new level.
