President Nazarbayev calls on Kazakhstanis to respect their language

ASTANA-ULYTAU. KAZINFORM - The country has created all conditions for the development of the Kazakh language, believes President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
"In line with the Constitution the Kazakh language is the state one and we must respect it," the Head of State said in an interview with Khabar TV Channel. "We should speak Kazakh and set the example for others," the President stressed. President Nazarbayev also reminded that 80% of school leavers in Kazakhstan attend Kazakh-speaking schools. "Today our children speak Kazakh, Russian and English regardless of the school they attend," the Kazakh leader added.
