President hears National Bank's report for half year

ALMATY. August 3. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Monday President Nursultan Nazarbayev heard the report of Chairman of the Kazakhstan National Bank Grigory Marchenko for the first half year of 2006.
According to G.Marchenko, there are several goals determined by the President. In particular, the President charged to monitor the balance of payments and make proposals on the best ways of use of the liquidity. "The National Bank boosted the liquidity of the banking sector in 2007 and autumn of 2008. Early this year the liquidity has increased a lot", he said.
"The report of the National Bank on the first half of the year was approved and we will conducted further work as per the instructions of the President", the Head of the Bank said.
