President congratulates Team Kazakhstan on successful performance at Incheon Asiad

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has congratulated Team Kazakhstan on their successful performance at the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea on behalf of all Kazakhstanis and himself personally, Kazinform has learned from the president's press service.
President Nazarbayev noted that the athletes lived up to the expectations of millions of their compatriots who were extremely proud of their triumph at the Incheon Asiad. "Your persistence, excellence and will to win allowed you to outshine sportsmen from 45 Asian countries and haul 84 medals, including 28 gold ones. This is the best result, the new record for Kazakhstan at the Asian Games," the congratulatory message reads. The President also stressed that success of our national team is the key to future achievements at the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. In conclusion, the Head of State wished all athletes good health and future victories.
