President attends presentation of "Sky of My Childhood" film in Astana

The screenplay written by Shakhimardan Khussainov and Rustem Abdrashev is based on the President's works "Without Right and Left", "Epicenter of the World" and "In the Heart of Eurasia".

"The film is special, because, we show the destiny of the hero. Human destiny can be interesting, but the destiny of the Leader of state, his childhood, parents and the country's life in those years is undoubtedly of great interest. This is a portrait of the whole epoch, the whole generation", director of the film R. Abdrashev said.

"I think, the film will be interesting for all ages", he considers.

Yerlan Zharylkassynov, Nurzhuman Ikhtynbayev, Almagul Alisheva, Natalya Arinbassarova, Yelzhas Alpiyev, Abilmansur Serikov, Nurlan Alimzhanov and Bibigul Tolegenova are starring in the film.

The film is about a boy, Sultan, who was born in the foothills of Alatau and dreamed about the flying into the sky. The endless sky of Ushkonyr dzhailau in mountains, where he lives, attracts him every time. There he sees a plane flying above. And Sultan creates an image of an ideal pilot in his conscious and tries to conform to it - to be strong in spirit, to be educated, honest, hardworking, faithful and physically strong.

The film will come out in cinemas April 14.
