President assigns to develop GM crops cultivation

ASTANA. January 17. KAZINFORM - ''It is important to keep up with the time and, along with the natural production we need to develop drought-resistant and genetically modified crops'', said Nursultan Nazarbayev in his annual address to the people of Kazakhstan.

"Genetically modified crops will spread rapidly throughout the world. Countries all over the world will need it in future", noted the President.
