Presidency in OSCE and OIC gives Kazakhstan unique opportunity to become stronger link between Islamic world and West - Boribay Zheksembin

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan Boribay Zheksembin said it at the briefing for mass media on December 14.

'It should be noted that Kazakhstan presided in one of the most powerful organizations - OSCE. Realized plans of Kazakhstan's presidency and it's success was the Summit of the Organization after 11 years of downtime and the adoption of the Astana Declaration. We are confident that this document will be a first step of a new stage of the development of the OSCE and give a boost to build a community of Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian security', he emphasized.

Kazakhstan is grateful to all the OSCE member countries for support and responsibility that allowed to hold the OSCE Summit.

Presiding in the OSCE Kazakhstan prepared for chairing in the OIC. 'Kazakhstan will chair in the OIC next year. Realizing this opportunity Kazakhstan will put plenty of efforts to continue development of the dialogue between Islamic world and the OSCE', the Ambassador noted.

Thus, the presidency in the OSCE and OIC gives Kazakhstan a unique opportunity to become a stronger link between Islamic world and West.
