Presence of police advisory group in Kyrgyzstan will enhance confidence, stability and order - Saudabayev

ASTANA. July 22. KAZINFORM OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Kazakhstan Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev has praised the decision on sending the OSCE police advisory group to Kyrgyzstan, which has been made by the Permanent Council in Vienna today; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA's press service.
He emphasized that Kazakhstan was among the first to support the request of Kyrgyzstan's authorities on sending a police advisory group. "I am glad that all 56 member states showed wisdom and reached a consensus on this issue. The presence of the police advisory group in the regions, which became the scenes of the recent bloody clashes, will enhance confidence, stability and order in the country. As Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the informal meeting of the OSCE Foreign Ministers, Kazakhstan is ready to support the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan both as OSCE Chair and in a bilateral format", K. Saudabayev noted.
The first advisory group of 52 persons will be sent to Kyrgyzstan for four months.
