Preparation of Lithuania for 2011 OSCE chair discussed in Vilnius

ANA. October 29. KAZINFORM. A roundtable on the issues of preparation of Lithuania for chairmanship in the OSCE in 2011 has been held in Vilnius; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA's press service.
More than 30 foreign political scientists and diplomats took part in the seminar at the invitation of Lithuania's Foreign Minister Vygaudas Usackas. Kazakhstan was represented by Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dulat Kuanyshev.
The Foreign Minister of Lithuania told about the country's priorities of chairmanship in the OSCE and approaches to the problems of prolonged conflicts and Afghanistan.
According to Mr. Usackas, Astana and Vilnius established strong ties between the Kazakh and Lithuanian teams on preparation for the OSCE chairmanship.
