Preparation for National Census 2009 discussed in Astana

ASTANA. February 17. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ The role and meaning of the coming National Census 2009 have been discussed in Astana today, Kazinform reports.
The event, organized by ?Atameken? debate club, was attended by the Parliament deputies, members of ?Nur Otan? Party, representatives of the Kazakh Agency of Statistics and non-governmental organizations.
The participants exchanged opinions on addition of new questions to the census list, influence of the census on the socio-economic, demographic development of the country.
