ASTANA. October 4. KAZINFORM - The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission extended the preferential treatment on import of aircrafts to airlines of Kazakhstan and Belarus until July 2019, according to the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
However, by 2020 it is expected that Kazakhstan air carriers will need more than 50 aircrafts. The amount of customs duties is 19% of the cost of the aircraft.
This decision will allow Kazakh airlines to continue the program on modernization of their fleet without an increase in the price of airline tickets.
