Prague held seminar on economic and investment potential of Kazakhstan
Welcoming the attendees Ambassador Anarbek Karashev informed them of Kazakhstan's socio-economic objectives within the President's Address to the Nation and briefed about the country's economic and investment potential, long-term and short-term development programs and the conditions of doing business in Kazakhstan. He called on the Czech companies to invest in Kazakhstan economy.
Co-Chairman of the Kazakh-Czech Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, Vice Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic M. Govorka noted constructivism of the objectives outlined in the Kazakh President's Message and confirmed importance of development of trade-economic cooperation with Kazakhstan. Active participation of the Czech businessmen in bilateral economic events sets the best pattern of it, he said.
The Czech businessmen expressed huge interest in the programs of the country's forced industrial-innovative development providing for promising directions for implementation of investment projects in various sectors of industry.
In whole the seminar was attended by more than 50 Czech companies representing energy, agro-industrial, engineering and industrial sectors of economy. Among them are the companies which have already been functioning in Kazakhstan. They shared their experience of doing business in our country and gave advices advice concerning cooperation with the Kazakh ventures.
The event was also attended by the representatives of the Czech ministries and departments, economic organizations and banks, businessmen and journalists and those who are interested in doing business in Kazakhstan.
