Poverty line defined for QIII 2014 in Kazakhstan

The appropriate order was signed by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection. In order to establish the criterion of social aid provision to poor citizens of Kazakhstan defining the size of subsistence allowance according to the point 4 of the rules of poverty line definition ratified by the decree of the Government dated April 8, 2000, the Minister decreed to define the poverty line for the third quarter 2014 making 40 percent of the living wage calculated by the Statistics Agency.
