Portugal Minister of State Paulo Portas to visit Kazakhstan

ASTANA. June 25. KAZINFORM Minister of State, Minister for Foreign Affairs Paulo Portas of Portugal will pay a visit to Kazakhstan on June 29-30, Altai Abibullayev, official spokesman of the Kazakh MFA, told a Monday briefing in Astana.
Paulo Portas is expected to hold negotiations with his Kazakh counterpart Yerzhan Kazykhanov, meet with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov and heads of various ministries.
The sides are to negotiate the state and prospects of the bilateral political and commercial and economic cooperation, and interaction between Kazakhstan and Portugal within international and regional agencies.
A business forum with the participation of the Kazakhstani and Portuguese businessmen will take place within the framework of this visit.
According to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, sales turnover between the countries amounted to USD 1.15 billion in 2011.
