Population of Kazakhstan to reach 18 million by 2020 - President

ASTANA. February 11. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ The population of Kazakhstan will have reached a number of 18 million people by 2020. President of Kazakhstan, Chairman of Nur Otan Party Nursultan Nazarbayev said it at the 13th congress of Nur Otan Party which is being held now in Astana.
'As a result of our work on healthcare the live expectancy in our country is expected to be at age of 72 and older by 2020', the Head of State said.
Besides, it was noted that the maternal and infant mortality would be reduced two fold.
