Polling station in Paris saw high voter turnout

PARIS-BRUSSELS. April 4. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ The day of the presidential elections of Kazakhstan at the polling station, opened under the Kazakh Embassy in Paris, was active despite the bad weather. The voter turnout made 77%, the press service of the Kazakh Embassy to France says.
The results of the head count of the district election commission in Paris showed incumbent President Nursultan Nazarbayev was an absolute leader of the presidential race. 85% of electors cast their votes for the Head of State. Gani Kassymov, head of the Party of Patriots, was the second with 5.7%. Leader of the Tabigat ecological movement Mels Yeleussizov gained support of 5% of Kazakhstan people who voted in Paris. 1.4% cast their votes for Zhambyl Akhmetbekov. Four ballot papers were declared invalid.
