Police officer strikes, kills woman with cruiser in Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. KAZINFORM - An on-duty police officer plowed his cruiser into a young woman and killed her on a highway in the Almaty region on June 5.
The police officer struck and killed the 23-year-old woman with his car on the Almaty-Ust-Kamenogorsk highway, not far from Zarechny village on Thursday evening. The victim died of sustained injuries at the scene. An investigation has been launched.
