Police arrest woman with large scale of heroin

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - Officers of the Anti-narcotics police department of the city of Petropavlovsk has detained a woman for large scale heroin distribution.
The woman, aged 43, was the resident of Kokshetau town. The detainee was apprehended with 5.95 grams of heroin. The city police department initiated a criminal case under article 259 part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The drug dealer faces 10-15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. Since the beginning of the current year the regional police have seized over 149 kilograms of various drugs including about 3 kilograms of heroin.
