Poachers with 13 saiga carcasses detained in Karaganda rgn

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - In Zhanaarkinskiy district of Karaganda region two poachers have been arrested, the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs reports.
"During sweep operation in Zhanaarkinskiy district, police officers together with employees of "PO Ohotzooprom" State Enterprise detained two motor cyclists. Policemen have seized 13 carcasses of wild animals, presumably saiga", the statement reads. Criminal case under Art . 288 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan has been initiated.
