PM took part in presentation of Air Ambulance Coordination Center in Kazakhstan
During the presentation the Prime Minister was demonstrated Mi-8 helicopter, rescue medical transport, operations control center of "Kazaviaspas" and rescuers' training center.
The Center will start operating this July. Four Ministries of Kazakhstan will be involved in the work of the Center - Healthcare Ministry, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Transport and Communications and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister of Emergency Situations Vladimir Bozhko said that it was planned to acquire 16 helicopters for the Center to provide timely help to remote areas.
Healthcare Minister Salidat Kairbekova also reported on the development of transport medicine of Kazakhstan for 2011-2015.
Heads of the Ministries and the National Medical Holding took part in the presentation as well.
