PM: No need to refuse national Customs Code

ANA. February 4. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Prime Minister Karim Massimov considers there is no need to refuse the national customs legislation due to accession of Kazakhstan to the Customs Union.
"To my mind the single Customs Code of the Customs Union does not provide all answers for disputable issues, therefore we need our current Customs Code", K. Massimov said at the sitting of the board of the Kazakh Ministry of Finances in Astana today.
The draft Customs Code has already been developed, so it must be submitted for the Government's consideration as soon as possible, the PM noted.
"Our Russian colleagues also found some shortages in the framework Customs Code, therefore we must solve this issue together", he stressed.
According to him, the Customs Code was developed by the Kazakh side. All problematic issues must be settled by the Ministry of Finances together with the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning.
