PM: Kyzylorda region has the potential to fulfil all President's instructions

Governor of the region Krymbek Kusherbayev reported on the current socio-economic development. "In January-February of this year growth in the manufacturing sector amounted to more than 20%. As part of the Industrialization Map the region is implementing 24 projects worth 152 billion tenge, 13 of them have already reached the planned capacity," he said.

The meeting was attended by the heads of ministries, state bodies, and national companies.

Summarizing the meeting, Serik Akhmetov said that in his Address to the Nation the President set clear and specific objectives for the Government and regional governors, aimed at the dynamic development of the country and its regions, the primeminister.kz reports.

"The President identified long-term objectives until 2050 along with the concrete steps in all priority areas of development. Special attention is paid to enhancing industrialization, agricultural innovations, development of small and medium-sized businesses. Today we have seen once again that the region has all opportunities and resources to fulfil all instructions of the President," the Prime Minister concluded.

After the meeting K.Kusherbayev and CEO of JSC "NC "Astana EXPO 2017" T.Yermegiyayev signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between Kyzylorda region and the company.

The Memorandum provides for implementation of joint activities, cooperation in the modernization of infrastructure, tourism, transport logistics.
