PM congratulated rescuers on professional holiday

ASTANA. October 19. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ The employees of the Ministry of Emergencies mark today their professional holiday. A ceremonial meeting was held in the Capital's Congress Hall. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has sent a message of congratulation to the rescuers of the country. "Over the passed years the employees of the Emergencies Ministry have demonstrated many times their high professionalism in saving people and various facilities", the message reads.
"Today we can say with confidence that you honorably fulfill the President's instructions on establishment of an efficient system of emergency response, ensuring stable work of all life support systems, industrial infrastructure of the country. The new realias of modernity set new objectives on protection of the population and the territory of the country from the natural and manmade disasters, the Prime Minister said.
New technologies and innovative approaches must be implemented in order to reduce the disasters, accidents and catastrophes, the PM noted.
