PM charged to work out and submit for consideration draft law on banking activity regulation

ASTANA. January 30. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov charged to develop and submit for Government's consideration a draft law on regulation of banking activity by May 1 on Saturday at the session of the Government.
"The Head of the State instructed that banks must be engaged only in banking activity and have no contacts with different related structures. In this regard, the Kazakh Agency on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Markets and Financial Organizations, the National Bank, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning must develop and submit for Government's consideration corresponding draft law on regulation of banking activity by May 1", he explained.
