PM charged to make maximal use of Asian Games sports facilities

ASTANA. February 21. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov charged Minister of Tourism and Sport Temirkhan Dosmukhanbetov to make maximum use of the 2011 Asian Games facilities.
Speaking at the collegium of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport K.Massimov noted that all sports facilities of the Games were built at taxpayers' expense - for the funds of the national and local budgets and attracting of sponsors. In this regard, the Ministry should make maximal use of these facilities.
According to the Head of Government, big sports events such as world championships, continental cups, should be held at the facilities as well as athletes' trainings.
Besides, the Premier charged the Ministry of Tourism and Sport and the Ministry of Education and Science to consider the issue of youth attraction to mass sports.
