PM charged to accelerate construction of Khorgos-Zhetygen railroad

An agreement on allocation of additional funds for accelerated construction of Khorgos-Zhetygen railroad and necessary infrastructure around Khorgos was reached within the recent visit of Chinese Chairman Hu Jintao to Kazakhstan, the Prime Minister noted.

In this view, K. Massimov entrusted Vice Prime Minister-Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev, SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund and Akim of Almaty oblast with a task to implement the agreement as soon as possible.

The Premier said he would visit Almaty oblast at the end of August to discuss all other issues.
