PM Bektenov visits World Green Company greenhouse complex in W Kazakhstan rgn
As part of his visit to West Kazakhstan region, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov got familiarized with the ongoing work to ensure food security and heard a report on the development of the region’s agro-industrial complex, Kazinform News Agency cites primeminister.kz.

During his visit to the greenhouse complex producing vegetables World Green Company, Head of the Kazakh government Bektenov was presented with the technological process and end products. The facility produces over six thousand tons of cucumbers and tomatoes.
This year, 430 billion tenge has been provided as part of the agro-industrial support measures. The figure is to be doubled upon the Head of State’s instruction, said the Kazah premier.

The Kazakh Prime minister was also familiarized with the project of construction of the country’s first-ever mining and processing complex producing potassium fertilizers with a capacity of six million tons per year and attraction of around 2.4 billion US dollars worth of investments.
As of today, Kazakhstan’s average potassium fertilizer consumption stands at 18 thousand tons per year.
The facility is to be commissioned in stages by 2035 and will create four thousand permanent jobs.
