PM Bektenov tasks to simplify and accelerate public procurement procedures
At today's meeting of the Cabinet, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov tasked governmental authorities to simplify and accelerate public procurement procedures and procurements in quasi-public sector, Kazinform News Agency reports citing primeminister.kz.

As Olzhas Bektenov noted, the existing procedures often lead to deliberate delays in public procurement procedures, as a result of which the implementation of new projects and the development of economy slow down.
He stressed the importance of increasing the share of home-produced goods in procurements using the appropriate mechanisms, including support of new productions.
The governmental authorities together with experts and business communities were tasked to draft necessary measures and add them to the legislative amendments submitted for the consideration of the Parliament.

Chairman of the Board of Atameken National Entrepreneurship Chamber Raimbek Batalov backed the presented approaches and confirmed his readiness to closely work with the ministries on their implementation.
The meeting also discussed the issues of launch of QazTech common digital platform and housing policy reform.
