PM Akhmetov held regular meeting on preparations for EXPO 2017

ASTANA. October 18. KAZINFORM Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov has held a regular meeting of the state commission for preparation and holding of the international exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana.

Akhmetov drew attention of the commission to the President's instructions announced during the session on the issues of preparation and holding of EXPO 2017, which took place last week at Akorda.

"The exhibition should be held without losses, post-exhibition work of all the pavilions should be beneficial to the national company and for the nation as a whole," Serik Akhmetov said. He also noted the need for a creative approach to information and branding work on the coverage of the preparations for EXPO, and timely development of the corresponding bill.

Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Company "Astana EXPO 2017" Talgat Yermegiyayev, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev, Environmental Protection Minister Nurlan Kapparov, Culture and Information Minister Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed took the floor during the meeting.

After the discussion the Prime Minister gave instructions to all interested state agencies, national company "NC "Astana EXPO 2017" and noted the need to take measures on quality preparation and holding of the exhibition.
