Platini to stay in hospital after fainting

JOHANNESBURG. July 10. KAZINFORM UEFA president Michel Platini have to stay in hospital overnight in Johannesburg after collapsing in a restaurant on Friday; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
Platini's special adviser William Gaillard said that Platini fainted, but initial tests at the hospital showed his condition was not serious.
Gaillard said Platini has had flu-like symptoms and a mild fever for a few days because of the cold weather in South Africa.
FIFA said in a statement that Platini was taken to hospital as a precaution; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
