Plan to implement decisions of CSTO Collective Security Council adopted
According to the source, a draft plan of the measures to implement decisions made by the CSTO Collective Security Council in December 2014 and secure the priorities suggested by Tajikistan for the duration of the country's presidency in the organization has been discussed. The approved draft of the document will be forwarded to the CSTO Secretary General so that the document could be presented for approval of the CSTO Collective Security Council Chairman.
The CSTO Permanent Council also looked into the draft plan of consultations that will be held among representatives of the CSTO member states in H2 2015 - H1 2016 to discuss matters of foreign policy, security and defense. The approved document will be forwarded for consideration of the councils of defense ministers, foreign ministers, and the committee of secretaries of security councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
Apart from that, the draft statement of the ministers of foreign affairs of the CSTO member states in view of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was discussed. The draft document was sent for further adjustments to the CSTO member states, BelTA reports.
