Plan on reconstruction of "Western Europe-Western China" corridor to be overfulfilled this year: Minister of Transport and Communications A. Kussainov

ASTANA. June 15. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "The planned volume of works on reconstruction of the Kazakh part of "Western Europe - Western China" international transit corridor will be overfulfilled this year", Kazakh minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazy Kussainov has said today at the workshop.
"To date we are ahead of the schedule. We plan to build and open for traffic 287 km of the road this year", the Minister said.
According to A.Kussainov, 11 companies including 5 foreign and 6 Kazakhstani are involved in the realization of the project. The rate of the Kazakh companies is up to 69% out of the total volume of works.
