Petropavlovsk airport to be reconstructed

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - International airport of Petropavlovsk will be reconstructed in the current year, said Yerik Sultanov, Governor of North Kazakhstan region at a session of the regional maslikhat.
"It is planned to reconstruct the international airport of Petropavlovsk. The project cost is 7.8 billion tenge. The works on reconstruction will be started this year and in 2016 the terminal will be able to accept aircraft of all types without restriction," said Y.Sultanov. In addition this year will be allocated 5.1 billion tenge for repairing of roads. It is expected that there will be renovated more than 250 km of roads. Implementation of transport and infrastructure projects will increase the investment attractiveness of the region.
