People should disseminate spirit of friendship and cooperation: Grand Imam of Al-Azhar

ANA. July 1. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ "The mankind is united by the fact that Allah created it from one man", Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Muhammad Sayyid Tantawi has said today at the III Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
"All people were created from one father and one mother; in this regard they should worship their god and disseminate the spirit of friendship and cooperation for good of the mankind all around. All religions call to worship a single god. Such worship helps a person to be able to communicate with people on the bases of tolerance, love and friendship", the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar said.
According to him, there exist many evidences of monotheism and unity of all people in the Quran. Besides, the Quran prohibits polytheism as well.
