People's Assembly of Kazakhstan opened 17th session

ASTANA. April 18. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The 17th session of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan under the motto 'Independent Kazakhstan: 20 years of peace, accord and creation' under the chairmanship of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has been opened at the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana on Monday.
Chiefs of national and regional ethnic cultural associations, members of the parliament, representatives of the Government, heads of political parties, diplomatic missions and others will attend the event. As a result it is expected to adopt a statement with the appeal to all citizens of Kazakhstan to address the issues outlined by the President in his state-of-the-nation address 'Build the Future Together'.
