Pavlodar scientist wins ‘Primus inter pares’ award

PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM - Associate Professor of "Metallurgy" specialized department of Pavlodar State University Alexander Bogomolov has become the first Kazakhstan's scientist to be awarded "Primus inter pares" order (first among equals) of the European scientific and industrial consortium by the decision of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS).

Prize was awarded to the scientist-metallurgist for significant contribution to the world of science, for outstanding works important for science and practice. A.Bogomolov is the author of 140 scientific publications and 20 patents. This year he was also awarded Alfred Nobel medal "For contribution to development of inventions". In addition, the Commission of RANS bestowed A.Bogomolov the honorary title of "Honored Worker of Science and Education", V.Vernadskiy silver medal and a personal certificate. At present the scientist-metallurgist is working on the implementation of projects of the Science Committee under the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science related to the development of innovative technologies significant for Pavlodar region metallurgical enterprises.
