Pavlodar region becoming railway engineering center of Kazakhstan

PAVLODAR REGION. January 13. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ 'Pavlodar region is becoming a center of railway engineering of Kazakhstan, President of 'Kazakhstan Temir Zholy' National Company JSC Askar Mamin said it within his visit to 'Kazakhstan Car Building Company' in Ekibastuz together with Governor of Pavlodar oblast Bakhytzhan Sagintayev.
Director General Murat Alpiyev told about establishment of production of freight gondolas which is included into the Industrialization Map of the country. The cost of it is KZT 7.7 bln. It is called on to reduce a need of the national carrier in freight cars.
Modern technologies are used in building a freight car building complex.
The complex is expected to produce up to 2000 gondolas and 500 freight cars a year.
'We need to produce up to 5000 freight cars a year in Ekibastuz to fully cover the needs of railway transportation of the country', A. Mamin emphasized.
