Pavlodar region attracts investments into its petrochemical projects
Governor of the Pavlodar region Erlan Aryn announced at a press briefing of the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan in Astana on Friday.
He stressed that within the second five-year stage of the implementation of the State Program of Forced Industrial and Innovative Development it is crucial to finalize the formation of regional clusters. In his words, they are to include export-oriented production - high-value added products chiefly in the processing industry.
"Chemical and petrochemical clusters are to be formed within the Pavlodar special economic zone. 45 participants with KZT 240-billion investment portfolio have already been registered, creating nearly 3.500 new workplaces," Mr. Aryn proudly informed.
According to him, the annual budget revenue is expected to total KZT 1.5 billion at first and eventually will hit the mark of KZT 23 billion per year.
