Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant transits to Euro 2 standard

PAVLODAR. February 5. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant JSC processed 4.8 million tons of raw materials in 2010, i.e. by 16.4% more than in 2009. The press service of the enterprise told Kazinform.
Production of high octane gasoline increased by 12%, its share in the total output of motor fuel rose to 77%. The plant introduced Euro 2 standard.
Production of aviation fuel increased twice to 184 thousand tons. Bitumen production increased by 71%. Its high quality was confirmed by the expertise of 'KazdorNII' JSC and Karaganda affiliate of 'Todini Costruzioni' (Italy). The plant adopted a long-term program to increase bitumen output.
Besides, the program of the enterprise's technical development till 2014 was developed. Reconstruction plan was approved together with the Italian company Eni. A feasibility study for the modernization project will be received at the end of March.
