Patrick Modiano wins 2014 Nobel Prize in Literature

PARIS. KAZINFORM Announcements of the recipients of the 2014 Nobel Prizes began on Monday with the award for physiology or medicine. Today, the 2014 Nobel prize for literature, one of the world's most prestigious awards, has been awarded to French novelist Patrick Modiano.
For 113 years the Nobel Prizes have been awarded in recognition of scientific and cultural research and advances. Throughout the week more winners of the coveted awards will be announced in the fields of physics, chemistry, economics and peace, euronews reports.
